Where to find people

Open Manage space from the user dropdown menu or vist your Account page and click Manage on the Space you want to view. The list of People in a Space is labeled "Who's in this Space".

Roles

• Owner - looks after the space. Can invite, change roles, rename, close budgets, and transfer ownership.
• Co-manager - can edit plans, invite, and help run the space.
• Member - can add expenses and money in, and create budgets.
• Viewer - can look only. No adding or editing content.

Users on free plans cannot create a new Viewer role in a Space they own, but a user on a free plan can be added to a Space as a Viewer if the Space owner has a paid plan. Paid plans and trial plans can invite viewers. Viewer roles will lose access to a Space if the Owner downgrades to a free plan.

Create an invite

1. On Manage space, pick the role the new person should have.
2. Create an invite. Moneytabs makes a code and a link.
3. Copy the link or share the code. They sign in and join your Space with the link or code.

Open codes stay on Manage space until someone uses them, or they expire, or you cancel the invite. Canceling an invite does not remove a person who already joined. If you want to remove them, you will need to instead remove them from the Space after they've accepted an invite.

Change a role

Owners and co-managers can change another person’s role from the People list. Only an owner can make someone else an owner. The last owner cannot drop themselves without transferring first. Only an Owner or the person themselves can remove someone from a Space.
